> Primary Logo:UC’s primary (preferred) logo consists of two core elements: the UC symbol and the University of Cincinnati logotype. These two core elements are “locked up” together and cannot be separated, altered, retyped orrecreated in any way. The UC logo must appear in a prominent location on all materials published by the university, whether in print or digital form.
> Symbol: The symbol is the "UC" graphic used in isolation. It may only be used in secondary positions after the UC logo has been used elsewhere on the same document. It may not be used in isolation on the same page as the logo.
> Ingot: One of the most commonly used elements of the design architecture, the ingot is the small rectangle derived from the UC symbol. Its proportions are 1 unit high by 3.5 units wide.
