Speech/Hearing Students Donate Funds

The College of Allied Health Sciences chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association has raised $5,000 for a variety of causes.

The group donated $1,720 to the UC Speech and Hearing Clinic and $950 for scholarships for six children to attend a summer language and literacy program. Other beneficiaries included the Ronald McDonald House, the Down Syndrome Association, Stuttering Foundation of America, the Autism Society and the Rothenberg Library. The group also sent books and diagnostic materials to Africa
